When this Longines was new... The Longines archive is wonderful - it was able to tell me that this watch was delivered to Italy on 23 Dec 1942. Amazing folks at the Archive! ...  

Purchased that watch in the middle of WW2 !.. I bet it was sold in Rome. Thanks for posting it !

It was quite a journey and as you know, when you need a real “Tool Watch” you reach for a Doxa !
