In the air
Prior to space, huge efforts were made by manufactures to offer reliable wrist tool-watches for pilots.
If Longines is the most obvious of all, there are some others, Gallet is one of them
They produced in the early 40s this waterproof chronograph called "Flying Officer" for WWII US and British pilots 
This one has many details to offer along with many innovations at the time
certainly one of my sexiest chronograph !

I would go with the purity of white.
to me, possibly the best looking Longines ever produced.
There are some 13 ZN which are, actually, even better looking than this 30 CH.

It's called "Tourbograph"....
.. and in PT, which is, IMHO, far, far better than the more recent HG one.... LE of only 51, and this one has the very special number for a very special Lange customer.... can't say more..... And the "whipping" of the chrono hands when they come back to Z...
