The chronograph is arguably the most useful complication we can carry on our wrist. Next week marks the 44th anniversary of the Apollo 13 mission where a simple mechanical Omega Speedmaster was used by Jack Swigert to time a critical 14 second course correction burn after the spacecraft was crippled by an oxygen tank explosion.
