I was lucky enough in 1979 to have a client that lent me a SM for a weekend thankfully with a full tank of petrol because with the massive triple carbs it drank like a fish and went like the wind and I still have really great memories of my time with it. ...

Whilst the movement doesn\'t initially have the same \'pop\' as say Lange movements, the more I examine it the more I\'m impressed.
I do not have a Dato.
But lucky enough to own it\'s cousin (1815 chrono) :P Indeed, the two make a great combo for me!
1815 chrono and Dato same movement / base if I don't mistake...
...except the date module obviously. Both absolutely wonderful and keepers if... you have the right wrist for it. I had both (one after the other, not together ) and had no other choice but to let them go with immense sadness but I could not wear them bec...
