i got this by incident...
Graham, in fact i was browsing the xbay that night and wanted to look for nice chronometer, out of my intention, this watch showed up to my eyes. i find it the quality is really nice and but the quoted price was a bit higher than that what i thought it valued.
after several emails correspondence with the seller, he kindly lowered the price, finally the deal was done.
Glashutte Q1 has long been my target, but so far most of them their quality were not so good. anyway this one seems very nice, i cross-checked it with my reference "Chronometer Wristwatch" book which seems to prove this Q1 to be real. i am happy with this new purchase. hope you will get yours soon.

I've been to the AD and have tried it on for size on more than one occasion...at this point of time, I have gotten feedback that I might as well have a clock strapped to my wrist :-D No giving up though....and will keep trying!

I've always stayed away from Rolex...too common and boring, was my take, but have always like the Explorer II and this...so it is my favorite current Rolex too I've also changed my mind about them now that I've seen for myself the quality of their pieces....
