. . . it's going into high gear. Looks deceivingly simple, but quite difficult to pull off in practice. It would be an easier into a corner pocket, but side pockets are narrower and consequently require greater precision. A millimeter off on the cue ball ...

I lost a good friend of many many years and top watchmaker a few years ago when he passed away. I still miss my visits to his shop and our chats and lessons. It was not easy to replace him. I found a very good watchmaker after a long long search. But ... ...

Its a fact my son Holden was named after Holden Caulfield from the Catcher In the Rye by J.D. Salinger. This was my son’s first watch gifted to him by a friend of ours. Such a wonderful and funny read if you ever find yourself in some classic reading mate...

Wonderful theme this weekend ! It’s finally inspired me to make my first post after a long period of being a silent observer ; A fascinating book on John Harrison and the invention of the first Marine Chronometer… just make sure to read it with a Longines...  

… though I confess I had to read it without the company of this wonderful Longines Lindbergh as yours. It has been in my wish list for long time but by one reason or another still pending. Keep enjoying it so much and look forward to your participation in...

I knew someone who collected old Kris knives from the war, and Japanese fans that were blades. (he has since passed away many years ago, but the collection remains)

I have a few but it’s an interesting subject from a historical perspective.

Scared because I am certain some were actually used in combat during the war.

Unfortunately we are in the process of moving so only some archive shots… ...
