... along the week end.
We have viewed so many superb timepieces and the details that bring so much love and enjoyment in their happy owners! What a feast!
Thank you so much to all participants for their sharing with us all those marvels in their collections.
It was a real tough work this week end to choose winners. Static shots are usually minority in our editions of WS but this week end, considering the nature of the Theme we received plenty of static shots and specially close ups showing the details of dials and movements. Too many wonderful pictures to be able to award just a few winners.
So I felt it was necessary to have an Special Silver Award (SSA) for the following shots previously to announce the three winners of this week end.
In no special order the SSA is given to:
Capt Scarlet and his detail shot of his Zenith reserve de marche awesome red hand.
Patekphilippecollector and his detail shot of that incredible almost photographic rendition of Moon in his Patek World Time:
Zeistuck and his close shot of that incredible Moon and 85 plus stars on his A. Lange timepiece. What a marvelous sight!
Ed Tonkin and his shot of his awesome FG Tourbillon detail:
CWatch and his Groenfeld dial detail shot:
Art/Dr. No sharing his sublime G.O. Carre with that special case and dial full of details.
Watchonthewrist and his close up of his V.H. distinctive crown:
Iceman sharing his exquisite 6062 Rolex:
And FabR sharing his stunning PP 5089G-020 wood marquetery dial and his unique and iconic Boccadasse Patek :
And now the winners are (drums sound in background):
Third Place for Halkcb stunning shot of his Tudor Black Bay red bezel first series dial :
Second place for Th.gr.ga. beautiful shot of his classy and elegant Cartier Tonneau and its details:
And First Place goes to Nicolas for his stunning shot of his Tornek Rayville showing that incredible detail of the humidity indicator used in times when diving watches water resistance was not so reliable as today:
Big congrats to winners, to Special Silver Award recipients and to all participants who gifted us with so many marvels this week end.
Have a nice and very safe week ahead my dear watch loving friends!! Best! Abel.
