My Father has worn a silver dialled version my entire life and his explanation of the tuning fork was my first introduction to horology. Gladly he is still in excellent health so inheriting it is thankfully a long way off. I bought myself this one as a reminder of him when I'm overseas.

Impressions thus far - it feels big - like a 37 or 38 rather a 34 mm width, it makes a pleasing thud when I move and it has a strongly defined appearance - probably the effect of the wide lugs. It is holding time well too, not always to be taken for grant...
