A theme all collectors will have some sort of story with .
A watch I first saw at the Atelier from Akrivia when it was released a couple of years ago , It was love at first sight. I couldn’t afford it back then but I couldn’t get it out of my mind. Fast forward two years ago i got a message from my friend Chris (the one that introduced me to the brand ) that they were almost sold out and if I wanted one I needed to act quickly. I needed to stretch my budget a lot to make it happen but i am so glad i did 🤗🙏🏻
After seeing all these great collectors ( i am pointing at you dear KMII 👈🏻😉) showing of there amazing Habring2 watches and drooling over there pics I knew I needed one in my collection at some point. Then my friend Frank from Monochrome showed me a proto from there collab with the brand . It was everything I needed in a H2 . Glad i have this one now 
I first saw the Joker when released at Baselworld back then . It instantly made me smile and a few weeks later i tried to contact KC but they told me it was already sold out . A year later i saw KC at Salonqp in London and had a nice chat with him . He told me they were planning to release a new titanium version later that year. I told him I NEEDED one and signed the contract. 1,5 year later i was a proud owner with a huge smile on my face 
Similar story with the Akrivia a watch i was drooling over from day one and each time i saw it at a event I needed to try it on the wrist and imagine i was a proud owner of a Gronefeld. Fast forward a few years i was indeed a very proud owner of one of there masterpieces

I truly didn't even imagine someone would be so bold as to attempt to create a leather strap for it! I think it looks perfectly good - it is adequate for even more occasions when worn on such a neutral strap.... Thanks for the excellent pictures, Filip

It's been worth the effort as it's a great watch. Resolving the insurance was a bureaucratic nightmare - but it all panned out in the end. It's good to have it back in fine fettle & be able to enjoy it. Cheers JML

As you know the CB is difficult as many have very been polished removing the distinctive case bevels, unique to the CB. You also have to Aquanaut 5167A, and know how enjoyable this watch is in almost any situation. The equivalent of the Swiss Army Knife.
My pleasure Captain. Yes, the CB is a very difficult variant to catch. Few were produced and as you say the distinctive inside lug bevel can be removed when polishing the case.
That makes the CB such a coveted variant among Speedmaster collectors. Agree with you about the Aquanaut. Loved your reference to the Swiss Army Knife! I also own a Submariner 50th Anniversary (Kermit) by the way. It´s an unique Sub variant and I consider...
