A couple of blankets would...
A couple of blankets would cure the worst, but you will soon find out that a wet muddy dog or 2 can get mess everywhere.
You need an old 4x4 so you dont care if it gets filthy, a boot room at home so you can leave them there to dry off or get cleaned before going into the house. Its also a great place to leave your muddy wellington boots, hence the name boot room.
Luckily i have one and can get the 4x4 easily enough.

.... we now own an old 4X4 :-) ... that X-type is fourwheeldrive :-) . Offcourse the RS can be used whenever i am driving, the rear is completely "polyestered" as you know ... or we can even take my van when going to the beach, Louie can dry a bit in the ...
