Still naught so far in 2015......
First off is the 1675.
To find a nice vintage rolex in my country is tough. I have to rely on the internet very much and mostly from the US as I am not familiar with the Euro dealers.
I saw this full B+P sample and and hit it without hesitation. Was a little worried as I did not really ask too much about the watch.
When it arrived, I was amazed by the overall condition, the "aging" has been natural with a light patina, enough to tell it is vintage, the dial was without blemish, and the even fading of the pepsi bezel (obvious when I put it next to the "newer" 16710).
I am still on the look out for a nice 1675 to surprise me but I will enjoy this for now.
Next up is the Moser fume dial.
The 3 hand version brings out the best effect of the dial without clutter.
Moser is surprisingly under-rated.
Cheers,
SF
