I have just received back a watch from restoration at Vacheron last month. For my particular watch, the cost for restoration was about double what I paid to buy the piece from the well known auction site. It is hard to know whether it will be worth it for your watch since it is unclear what condition the movement is in. But if you choose to have the watch restored Vacheron it will come back beautiful.

i wouldn’t touch the watch if still running ok-ish. I like the charm as it is. Movement wise, a good watchmaker should be able to do a service at a much lower price point as V&C. Br, Dirk
