I didn’t observe you are actually interested in vintage Vacheron.
The description above was just a first impression and is in some regards unprecise. But never the less, any further decision or activity should reflect on a valuation of the movement.
In my opinion, the watch is a potential collector’s item, but not a present for your daughter.

i wouldn’t touch the watch if still running ok-ish. I like the charm as it is. Movement wise, a good watchmaker should be able to do a service at a much lower price point as V&C. Br, Dirk
