I recall running into the concept of twin frequencies
during a visit to Villeret back in 2013. The chronograph operated at 50 Hz in normal operation and could switch to 500 Hz for short-interval timing to 1/1000 sec. VC's application goes in the opposite direction; 5 Hz in normal operation but able to slow to 1.2 Hz and preserve the calendar functions during storage. I think the VC concept is far more practical ;-)

I‘ve never heard of this Montblanc. Seems pretty funky, timing to 1/1000 sec by fumbling with a pusher. Especially if you have my reaction time 😂

I like the way VC have used the same aesthetic in the recent Traditionelle models. The combination of modern looks in a traditional looking case really appeals to me for some reason. All the best, Jon
I fully agree.
The design choices are bold on this one, but they work very well due to the excuisite craftmanship and careful execution. The VC savoir-faire is very present, alowing them to go way more avantgarde than expected. Glad you like it, Jon!

Actually the Geneva boutique is in a different place.
I believe the sign is where their previous boutique used to be. The new one is away from the river, at Place Longemalle.
