Had the same movement in an Audemars Piguet (calibre 2003). Surprisingly accurate & robust. Vacheron Constantin's iteration now is the 1003/3 with 18kt ebauche. Don't know if AP still share it.

Bezel
Yes the Bezel was used on the Ref 6351 like this one but for example also on the Ref 6406 that is powered by the 1002 caliber. The textured dial was what draw ne to this watch even if I find the lettering a little bit thick, what raised question marks not...
A slim watch
So slim, it is almost a coin. I follow a bit the race of the slimmest watch. Piaget and Bulgari are neck an neck. Fun to read about VC’s flat wonder.
Slim race
Well, these guys were making these starting from 1955 ! But I am also a big admirer of Piage because while their 9P movement was not as spectacular as this one, their 12P with microrotor was and they made some nice watches and kept their line until now.
