For me, symmetry is the key..
I guess I have been unsettled since seeing the VC novelties which contain only a small amount of unobtainium. They lack symmetry. I don’t think I could look at the dial regularly. Sure it gets attention in photos made for the web. But I can’t imagine it on my wrist.

This is a classic that is needing more details / texture to the dial
But not that way. Huge miss for me.
I prefer the old dial. Minimal branding for me.
I own some watches where there's no branding on the dial at all! I'm a little surprised Vacheron Constantin created this. Christian Selmoni (Style and Heritage Director) must have liked the design.
