The spiritual successor to the Freak Out
Looking at the two side-by-side, I prefer the older Freak Out to the Freak ONE.
Reviewing the comments, it would be fair to say that this Freak ONE does not appear to be making anyone's Favourite Freak list. I don't think the concept is poor, but the design itself is not the most tantalizing.
For the upcoming 25th anniversary, the Freak line should be streamlined. One avant-garde model and one design-focused model. The avant-garde model will continue to innovate and experiment, while the design-focused model can stick with "mature" Freak technology, replacing both the Freak ONE and Freak X.
The idea of having an accessible Freak is a good one, but it doesn't have to be that accessible price-wise. Maybe focus on aesthetics and wearing comfort. I felt the Freak Out was on the right track aesthetically. USD 50,000 is fine as a price floor for the Freak collection. Those who want to spend less will find a way to obtain one in the secondary market.

I love the UN Freaks (including those FREAKS with crowns - one can argue with the Grinder-winder, this down not have a rear-case manual wind and therefore...) However, unlike the Freak S, which was a tad over-complicated/bulky, the F-One has a nice baguet...
