but for me, if I’m not willing to/able to put in the time it deserves for some proficiency, then I shouldn’t do it. At least that’s my personal view of what it deserves from me.
It definitely takes a while to build up that myelination in the brain, along with motor-skill memory. I beat myself up when I can't go to the range more than once in a few months. I prefer doing it at least twice a month....
I bought it for the lightweight factor. I was carrying Ruger SR1911 Commander in all steel, the weight was just too much. The Ultra Carry with a full magazine is still lightweight. Loaded with 230 gr. hollow points.
I have Been a sports shooter for 25 years but the restrictions are getting more ridiculous every year so i stopped many years ago . To bad Great rolex btw 👌🏻😉
My father taught all his children how to shoot and safety since I was 8 or 9 years old. Sports shooting is all we used to do. Just for fun. I taught my kids the same. It’s a family outing for us.
