...ties, cuff links, jackets, shirts, etc. I wear shorts and a t-shirt every day but I do appreciate the good stuff.

It needs to be defined a little bit but discussing style and attire is somewhat relevant to watches.

These get a lot of wear. Especially in Winter. They are triple soles. + 10 year old from JL. I don’t think you can tell. I think JL take extra well to polishing.

You know shoes very well 😊 I have learned the hard way to choose conservatively and not compromise with the fit. Then just accept whatever the expense. It will be well worth it for the long run.

Is that the JM Weston Half Hunt (Demi Chasse)?

The others are John Lobb. The light brown with brown tips are Edward Green.

Don't have any Lobbs (yet) but love the Weston Half Hunt and Derby, as well as the EG Dover.

And then there's the Hunt or Chasse, which is beautiful but very expensive.

I'm a 9D in the Golf and am torn between 8.5 and 9 in the 180. Regardless, I'll pair this with a 14060M or PAM 587, just to keep this watch-related ;-)

I have a bit of a fetish for nice leather products. Shoes in particular. It’s amazing how many cultural codes are embedded in the details of shoes. Sorry, can’t help myself LOL..when I met my wife she compared me to Imelda Marcos, but said I was better lo... 

but I like not wearing shoes more. At this point in my life I probably don't put on a civilized pair of shoes more than a few times a year, and thus will probably literally never buy another pair of shoes except exercise shoes or sandal-type shoes.

The shoes is what connects you to the planet. Taking a walk in a well fitted pair of leather shoes is a tactile and aesthetic pleasure 😊

I can fully understand your joy! Thais a winner. Classic, with a touch of modern with the color. Maybe consider using a neutral polish on them so they dont turn black. I I have a couple of blue Weston 180 in and I do the same. I used a blue Sphir in thE b... 

I ordered a jar of EG’s neutral polish just for these !
