These get a lot of wear. Especially in Winter. They are triple soles. + 10 year old from JL. I donโt think you can tell. I think JL take extra well to polishing.
You know shoes very well ๐ I have learned the hard way to choose conservatively and not compromise with the fit. Then just accept whatever the expense. It will be well worth it for the long run.

but I like not wearing shoes more. At this point in my life I probably don't put on a civilized pair of shoes more than a few times a year, and thus will probably literally never buy another pair of shoes except exercise shoes or sandal-type shoes.
