Best hotels/areas to stay in Tokyo?
I will be making a trip up to Tokyo in the coming month, and I would just like a little advice from the community as to where would be a good place to stay while I am there. I've never been to Tokyo before, or Japan for that matter, and seeing as most members of the club are well travelled, with a few actually living in Tokyo, I ask, what would be the best hotel to stay in while in the city/ best area. Cost isn't an issue. Also, if you could also suggest a few good restaurants (which I'm sure Tokyo is in no shortage of!) that would be well appreciated as well!
Cheers and looking forward to hearing your responses,
Thanks in advance!
Enrique

At least during your stay try @ The Peninsula Tokyo, Ginza Area. I could say the service is top notch, room is huge especially if you re traveling with your spouse, , and opt for the imperial palace view, you wouldn't get disappointed. Rgds
