I wonder if anyone was able to pay attention to the seminar and instead opted to imagine themselves riding one of these rare pieces of automobile history.
On a side note, there is an old garage/ private car museum close by to where I live. I should probably check it out sometime and make a post about it!

Classics in an Industrial Park?
I signed up for a work related seminar and I pulled into a very innocuous looking industrial park part of town. Here is the entrance to the seminar and inside, I was expecting just rows and rows of folding tables and chairs for this daylong (and dry) semi...

Actually, when I saw the brochure, I thought this was just a little gimmick place to hold a seminar and that it was just a few cars and gas pumps. I was floored! Thanks for the comments Filip!

this was work related! I was surprised that my bosses wanted me to go after seeing the brochure and knowning full well that this place was a bit "fishy?" LOL! The seminar was really useful but the classics lying around were even more interesting!

Amazing collection
You never know where these things are to be found... Sometimes the most beautiful classics are sitting in a barn, covered in dust, just slightly hidden from all those prying eyes. Thanks for sharing with us this rare glimpse of these beautiful automobiles...
This was only one building..
Mr. Astor also owns the same size building across the street and its basically a parking lot and storage for all his goodies. What adds to the interest is that it is SO LOW Key! Hope all is well Patrick!

there was a separate room that I forgot to take a photo of full of vintage slot/gaming machines... Also, since this guy was in radio, he also had a collection of vintage phonographs... very cool... These were all taken with the iPhone (only camer I had).

believe me...I snapped like 75 photos with the iphone and I did it all for thePuristS...j/k by 3pm..the phone was out of juice and I couldn't surf the web anymore on my phone..that's when the seminar got really boring... LOL... Glad you enjoyed it Art!

Are fellows who are in a more advanced stage of the disease than me.... But also to show that i wanted all my cars in the same country and under the same roof.... She looked with interest but then adviced to retire now in order to complete all my cars so ...

Private collectors who have huge warehouses filled with cars.
I know a few ones in Europe but they are mostly more focused...
on a certain brand or model or theme.... What I like is that they get driven, I hate museums or restored cars that do not get patina any more...

Mistake about the Morris'
Saw that the placard on the Traveller said that 1959 was the only year Morris' were imported to the US. Not true. Exports started in 1949 and continued into the 60s (my 61's a VIN plate identified US export model) Great collection and a gorgeous Traveller...
