I don't think that people violating VC 16028(A) not having insurance will care as so many are without insurance right now. I see so many still talking on their phones too. No front plate is not a fix it ticket anymore? Thanks for heads up ATM! -MW

... you might want to check with the local police dept. For cell phone violation, 'easier' to contest, but the priceless efforts of going to court 3X might not worth $148 Speaking from 'experience, ATM

Ruined the lines of my 944 front, so I never had one. Dutifully have them on all my cars now, except my Renault Caravelle, where, when I was in France, had a euro plate made with my Cali numbers on them (did this in a Carre-fours!) they were cool about it... 

Only $15 for the paperwork which I gladly pay several times a year to keep my car looking good LOL. It seems like they're going to raise the fees Regards, ED-209

Thanks for the heads up. I consider myself a relatively careful and safe driver. I hope that everyone stays safe. On another note, it seems like California is trying to become like Switzerland, with its heavy traffic fines.

In GA we have super speeder fines which really racket up the costs. While I agree that it's a bad situation for generating revenues, I have no sympathy for those who get tickets for passing school buses with flashing red lights on. Last time I was in LA d...

VC 27400 $178 Headsets or Earplugs covering both ears. I wonder if this goes for motorcyclists, too? Any trip that would see me on a freeway (highway) for any length of time would mean earplugs in....

I felt you needed all your senses to ride well -especially in L.A. Hearing is an important part unless of course, you're one of those Harley riders who has modded their exhaust to such an extent that no one can hear anything within 100 yards of them.

...amongst traffic? yep, for sure. As many senses as possible. No earplugs. And definitely no Harley! Droning along a freeway with the windnoise just kills my ears. Ride for a couple of hours and my ears feel shot. Mind you Arais tend to be quite noisy. O...

most of those are already established fines here in Australia. We additionally lose points for breach of above and other laws. Lose 12 points in a 3 year period and you lose your licence here. If you breach during designated holiday periods, you lose DOUB...
