Old Car!

After Steve's picture of his beautiful new beemer. I thought I'd post a few images of a somewhat older beast. I used to use her as a daily driver but she's taking life a little easier these days. Anyone else here have a passion for vintage automobiles?...
Beautiful indeed!...

Hi Pplater, I also have a P3, 1947, I believe. Nowhere near the condition of yours, in fact, it's now in bits and stored on the family farm. I needed the room for the restoration of a Giulietta Spider. Pics to follow.

I have a silver/black 67 250 Pagoda. My folks have it in storage in the UK. It is an automatic and I'm really envious of the stick shift in your 230. The manual option seems to be quite rare. I quite often see the 280 pagodas in LA but they usually have t...
Thanks for that...

...it's gratifying that the Rover pleases. As you may know, literally all of the parts for the Pagoda are still available in inventory ex-MB (but at a price, of course). A conversion to manual is a feasible option if you're keen. You might even manage to ...
Thanks for that...

....much appreciated Carl. There are two things on the US delivery models of various marques that disappoint me every time: headlight treatments which diminish the lines of the original design ( vide the early Jaguar XJS for example) and bumper [fender] o...
