ION Orchard …
This new shopping complex looks great and is a very vibrant part of Orchard Road. The architects (Benoy) apparently used nature to inspire their design and you can appreciate the organic qualities of the ‘trees’ used to support the complex.
Very photogenic, particularly at Christmas, but I felt a bit like I had entered the world of Blade Runner with advertising projected onto the 3-storey high walls.

Au Jardin in the Botanic Gardens
Lunch at Au Jardin was in a beautiful setting amongst the tranquil tropical gardens. An oasis amongst the humid greenery. A pleasant lunch, but nothing very inventive. I will let the images speak for themselves....
