Sling ...
Well there are so many recipes for Singapore Sling, and even the original version, created by Ngiam Tong Boon a century ago, is lost. I would hope that Raffles gets it ‘right’ more than others, seeing as they invented it. It is certainly a tangy and refreshing cocktail, but it has more of a sting than the name suggest.

Au Jardin in the Botanic Gardens
Lunch at Au Jardin was in a beautiful setting amongst the tranquil tropical gardens. An oasis amongst the humid greenery. A pleasant lunch, but nothing very inventive. I will let the images speak for themselves....
