For me, favorite ice cream by the scoop here in LA is the one at Bennett's (the Grove), the flavor in question is white chocolate raspberry (from the places that I've been to obviously, there's always a bunch I haven't visited). As far as supermarket ice cream goes, my favorite was the Twix flavored one, but they don't seem to have it anymore 
. They've got the small Twix ice cream bars which are good, but not as good as the one-gallon package ice cream was.
