Everyting at Berthillon was excellent, as I recall.

 

Maybe I have rose-tinted memories of eating ice cream in Paris, but I loved their hazelnut ice cream and also candied chestnut.  Yum!

Salted caramel seems to be a hot flavor around town lately.  I've seen ice creams, cookies, macarons, and pies with this flavor recently.  My favorite salted caramel candy comes from Little Flower Candy Company in Pasadena.
