Drivetrains...

Thanks for the compliment.
It's one of my true "loves".
When I first purchased this bike, the vast majority of funds into the frame (it's pretty much the only thing you cannot upgrade). I chose Shimano Ultegra Mechanical. Last year, I upgraded to the new version of Ultegra and opted for the Di2 version (digital). It's a fantastic system but a bit pricier. If you have the cash - it's a good upgrade, but there are others that may be better. (For example, I upgraded my wheelset well-before the drivetrain. It is a far bigger "bang for the buck" in terms of performance and speed. If you're looking at other manufacturers (SRAM and Campagnolo) everyone has there preferences.
As far as electronic shifting, Shimano and SRAM are well-ahead of Campognolo. In the electronic sets, SRAM's system is a bit simpler, but Shimano's shifts cleaner when under load. However, in the mechanical sets, they're all well matched.
I strongly recommend checking the egonomics of the hoods. My hands didn't "like" the Campangolo and may have preferred SRAM, but I preferred the shifting sensation and mechanism on the Shimano set. To borrow a metaphor, if you've driven Audi and BMW you know that both companies make excellent, high-quality vehicles - but they drive quite differently and definitely have different "road feel".
If you're not racing, then I would not bother with the Dura Ace components (or Campagnolo's SuperRecord). The differences in weight and efficiency exist, but are marginal (as compared to previous generations, where the disparity was far greater).
Feel free to send me a post/message with any specific questions. Happy to impart whatever knowledge I have available.
