it is all relative, is it not . Entirely dependant on how you see yourself and wether you 'own' the time you have and how you spend it (working, procrastinating etc.). Personally, I could never see myself as a slave to time nor have I ever purchased thing... 

For some time now I have not been wearing a watch on the weekend. Whether or not I am in control of it, my weekdays are busy and bound by time. My weekends without a watch gives me a sense of freedom. Best E.

Yet now I'm in my office on a Saturday. Sigh.

I try not to, but this week was too short by a few days, compounded by travel. My work today will be carried out in the company of a friend who also has work to get done and from the comfort of a local restaurant following a decent brunch together, but it... 

A watch is also a useful tool for enjoying life to the fullest. How else can one be on time for dinner reservations, concerts, drinks with friends, etc. A watch at the beach can also help you avoid a nasty sunburn. Nothing sinister in these activities tha... 

Couldn't He have rested for two or three days?! Breathing upon the waters or whatever has to be hard work... We'd have four day weekends for sure if He had thought about it a little harder.
