Your post inspired me and I just put in an order for a Pogue reissue. I fondly recall that in 1969 at the earliest, or perhaps in the early 1970’s, when I was 8 or 9 years old, the father of a dear friend of mine had a 6139. I was always mesmerized by and enamored with the yellow sunburst dial. I recall thinking that it was such a happy and sunny color. It just irradiated warmth. It made me happy! Whenever I see a vintage Seiko. I fondly recall my friend’s father wearing thr Pogue. So seeing your post and just learning that Seiko reissued a modern and somewhat different version of the Pogue, but with the same color scheme and the same sunny dial, brought back those fond memories of experiencing the original Pogue and immediately gave me the urge to pull the trigger on the reissue. Very excited to receive it in a few days. And thank you for your post. It made my day!

Hello Larry! Thanks a lot for your kind comments. Yes, it is very comfortable on the wrist. Even is my wrist is rather thin at 7-1/2" the 41,5 mm case seats very nicely.
As usual best thing is to try any watch on your own wrist as not only case size is important but also your wrist shape and your personal taste when you view it strapped on your wrist. Thank you so much again for viewing and commenting! Hagwe! Abel
