I always enjoy reading your writings, just well written and reflects a great deal of wealth of knowledge and passion.
Grand Seiko gave me a new scope to the world of horology. why good, solid, beautifully built watches must be expensive?! G.S. proved it should not. that's why I got it. I honestly cant find a better value...no wait, the term "value watch" is associated with watches that are compromising in one or more aspects of the watch to have a more accessible price point. but these G.S. are not compromise, they are beautifully built.
So Grand Seiko proved to me at least, is that you can have a solid, pure, three hands watch with a reasonable price. I just dont know why the Swiss brand just don't do the same?
