.. why or where "Seiko" is not good enough for your friend.....
I am closer to Seiko physically (Made in Japan), but in such a case, if you cannot bear wearing a bit scratched watch, you should contact the closest Seiko service center because polishing is really the key to make that case, next to forging, and you don't want it to be ruined by untrained "street" watchmakers.
