GS Patterned dials - please contribute

Nov 24, 2017,20:22 PM

After Alkiro1's question about GS dials and unique patterns, perhaps it is time to put together a thread of all the unique dials between us. I can contribute these to start:

Milgauss squares, lines, lions and GSs

White Titanium Automatic - cream with squares (sort of) and GSs

Black quartz 12-6 numerals with diamond patterns and lines

From an another angle the dial is absolutely glossy and flat

White automatic 12-6 with hexagon patterns and lines

What have you got?

Yes, a great resource for vintage GS

I only have one that qualifies as vintage and it has a textured dial (random markings) but not what I would call "pattern". I think the same about the "Snowflake" Spring Drive - it has a texture but not a deliberate pattern Here's a vintage GS owned by a ...

“Kasuri” Dial of the Brand New LE SBGJ225

 By: wisPete : November 27th, 2017-18:46
Just found this one recently. The dial design is inspired by what I understand to be a traditional Japanese weaving technique called “Kasuri”, popular in the southern parts. Very little info on this one yet. Can’t wait to see it live. ...

That's a full-tilt, top-notch, jaw-dropping Grand Seiko - I would love to see one in person but haven't had the chance yet. Thanks for posting its picture. Cazalea
