Sorry for naming Longines in a GS forum part.
mj23 have a good point.
I own two Longines watches from the late 2016 - 2021, and there is a difference in finishing.
Remarkable is that brand expectation is no guarantee all watches will have the same high level of quality.
Price policy should not be interfering a brand imago, but mj23 shows GS does it either.
We watch purists lay a watch under a loupe and discover bad, good or in between.
What i seen that my Longines in the $1000 - $1500 range at the back the edges are good, but no top chrome paint.
Rough polished at the back of the lugs.
The dial is just awesome.
My Longines in the $3000 - $5000 range at the back, face, sides, dial, etc, high quality flawless. Even winding the crown is like silk.
I think that Omega does all modern watches from the start till the top of their catalog with the same quality approach.
The same F.P. Journe, Pattek.
