This lovely 100% original full set 1675 was purchased from the original owners widow a long time ago. It was so exciting to find out that her Husband had been a soldier in the British forces. With his name engraved on the case back it soon became apparent...  

Obviously looking for more provenience as we collectors do and with the secrecy that surrounds the Regiment I actually managed to get through to an office by phone in Hereford to try and verify that this man had been in the SAS I spoke to a lady and expla...

I had two chances of owning great watches with great provenance and off course I was to slow to pull the trigger. One was General David Petraus’s Rolex Submariner I spot it on that big auction site something around a decade ago, documented that it was pur... 

And decisive. Also you have to take a risk every now and then. Having said that it was easier years ago not so safe now with all the fakes etc. out of interest was the EC 5070 a standard Dial on the G?? I’ve never understood why EC would sell any watches....

Also the dealer couldn’t confirm its authenticity, however when I inquired here on the forum, a lurking member who is a close friend to EC and knows his collection, showed quite serious proof of authenticity, but by that time the watch was sold... As for ...
