I wasn't "shi**ing" on his collection. But watches that you can't/don't wear ARE boring.
If you aren't wearing it a watch, you aren't using it. And don't we "collect" these things to enjoy them?

But by not wearing them you are allowing the oil to dry out and could damage the movement. I hope you are at least rotating them and allowing them to tick away in their coffins
Could be different for the newer synthetic oils used now
But in the past, true NOS watches that were never touched looked pristine on the outside, but usually had significant movement damage due to stasis.
Someday, after we’re all long gone, the eventual wearer(s) of these watches will be very grateful for your forbearance on their behalf.
Or you could throw caution to the wind and enjoy them on your own wrist. Either way, nice collection!
