What a post..

And a mind bender.. not to mention educational (as opposed to just being informative).

My set would be a bit more “pedestrian”.

Mostly post 66 for me. Sure a PN is a logical choice but I’m willing to drop THE icon for your 1019. Wouldn’t even think twice. That 1019 of yours has made a nice imprint in my mind. I hear the word Milgauss, I think 1019 and the modern GV.

While I like the 6542 and who doesn’t .. I prefer the GMT to have lugs as it just feels a bit more secure.. I’d readily go for a nicely aged 1675. I hear the words “vintage Rolex” and I automatically think of the 1675 across the board running over daytos and subs!

Now the sub part is a bit tricky as I get lost with all the variants and not really one has locked into my brain. I’d readily say that 1665 of yours is a hands down killer choice. That plexi is wow and the way the red complements the indices.. having said that, I do like the cyclops on the sub and a 1680 would do “just” fine for me.
