well I think most of the buyers will be "office divers" BUT...
I think it was a good way for rolex to introduce something new and a special dial. Isn't a bit like annual calendar or even more tourbillon ? not needed but nice to have and shows the technical capabilities of the makers. In the case of a tool watch Rolex wears the crown here ..... Now beside the "can" it also has a different look/weight/size than the submariner. Deep Sea is not for me but I see many more overkills in the watch world !!
