To polish or not to polish first year GMT-M2C?
Hello all,
I have a GMT Master IIC (116710LN) that was manufactured in 2007, the first year that this new model was released. It is due for servicing and I'm wondering if I should have it polished or not. I would like it to look new again, but am wondering if it would have collector value given its year of manufacturer.
Thank you,
Ira

As you\'ve heard above, you\'ll just get the scratches again. And I would like to repeat what our friend Alkiro has said, it can be terrible sometimes... A Speedmaster I bought early on was a victim of bad polishing. It\'s not fun, really ruins the watch....
I would advise against it
