Finally Rolex has listened! This is historic for Rolex, who until today, have maintained a policy of "onwards" on their watch designs, no matter how popular certain vintage references have been.
Not a complete cop of the 6263 (that would need full panda dials), but hugely appreciative of the adoption of the black bordered sub-dials. Never really liked the shiny sub-dials of the 116520, which was why I sold mine just a month back. I guess this is the universe's way of preparing me for this new reference!
I'm visiting my AD first thing in the morning. Btw, too bad the reference "116263" is already taken. Would've been a nice tongue-in-cheek touch!

I had given up on Rolex
I think many of us had given up on Rolex and ventured out to Panerai, Audemars Piguet, Tudor, in my case, Ralph Lauren. The new ceramic bezel SS Rolex Daytona is the watch that will bring everyone back.

However, it\'ll take forever! Every time I ask about the SS Daytona at authorized ADs, they are never available. The Rolesor and gold models are available, but never the SS!

do they really have to put 'the whole paragraph' on the dial?? :P it makes the dial too cluttered IMO less words on the dial wouldn't hurt tho

Having waited as long as I have for a SS Daytona, which I eventually purchased at Christmas - I don't know what to think now that the 2016 version is out. At least I am comforted in the knowledge that if I go on the waiting list now, I will be ready to ch...
