observation on bezel and dial color
it's interesting to note that on sum Daytona, the main bezel with print will match the counter print and background colors while others do not. For example, the new SS White Dial Black bezel combo matches, the counter dials are black (under the numbers and markings to read which are white print) - Black background with white numbers and markings a functional match.
On others they are different, such as the new YG Green dial with YG bezel and black print. The counters have a green background with YG, White and Red in print. Same applies to the new SS Black ceramic bezel white print and the counters are stainless background with black print.

I had given up on Rolex
I think many of us had given up on Rolex and ventured out to Panerai, Audemars Piguet, Tudor, in my case, Ralph Lauren. The new ceramic bezel SS Rolex Daytona is the watch that will bring everyone back.

Personally, I would have preferred a silver dial in place of the white. To my eye, it's an odd amalgam to mix the black bezel (which harkens to the 4 digit Daytona references (e.g. 6263) with the white black sub-dials which is lifted directly from the 5 d...

However, it\'ll take forever! Every time I ask about the SS Daytona at authorized ADs, they are never available. The Rolesor and gold models are available, but never the SS!

do they really have to put 'the whole paragraph' on the dial?? :P it makes the dial too cluttered IMO less words on the dial wouldn't hurt tho

Having waited as long as I have for a SS Daytona, which I eventually purchased at Christmas - I don't know what to think now that the 2016 version is out. At least I am comforted in the knowledge that if I go on the waiting list now, I will be ready to ch...
