The matte dial 16800

Tried this one on a and seriously considering it.  A bit steep but the markers are all uniform and beautifully aged. Never polished and am head over heals for the dial. Have a deposit down on a new Sub but this one is sublime.  1981 which is two years after I was born and feels so right.  Thoughts on it ? Freshly serviced cal 3035 with B&P.

PS The one pic looks like I have a small wrist but I dont, I wear a Bell & Ross 03-92 as a daily wearer and fits nice.  I just got too close to the face. Why no more matte dial Subs these days?

1983. It's my daily beater. Probably due for a service but bullet-proof for a lot of years.

Sorry, I'm not at all experienced...

Just highly opinionated! My opinion here is based on aesthetics and charm to which the vintage has in spades and the new, well, IMO none at all.

So much more charm than the current edition. I've had one of these on my radar for a while now. Kent
