What are being paid behind the scene. Most, if not all, great watches are usually bought by word of mouth from dealers, collectors, friends....I doubt they are trading hands for this obscene kind of money..... Remember the good ole days when you could buy...

There are pristine examples of watches that sold that still live in collectors hands. This is a good sign for those that hold them. It also means the bar has been raised. More and more Tropical dials will no longer be a way to disguise and hype a lesser q...

or more conveniently describe damaged dials as tropical. It is more marketing speak. Tropical refers to brown. But there are so many shades of brown and what caused the brown aspect water damage or some other natural aging. What I am saying is target the ...
