With regards to brands, I find there are so many nice time pieces to choose from out there across many manufacturers and with my limited means have to be selective in what I end up going for. Lately the pull has been going towards older pieces. In the world of vintage it is certainly far harder to stick to one or a few brands as so many made high quality beautiful pieces back then. Whilst I can understand how some focus entire collections around one brand or even one model (like submariners, daytonas) I am a bit more lost in this world and look for diversity as much as I would wish to have multiple iterations of each piece I own!
I have seen some your pieces here on the forum, and the items you show are all quite impressive!

The other picture was much better. The hands don't look gilt enough for my taste. I know the 5508 is a later model than the 6536-1 so the hands moved away from being the golden gilt to the more silver looking hands that are also common on very early 5512....
In fact, when seeing this picture, you need a 6205.

It is a unique piece. Probably no finer example out there. And because it is a 6536 it has a much bigger feel than the 6536/1 and the 5508. What a great example of the 6536. Bill
