Rolex Submariner 16800. A nice one.
Did you notice that the so called transitional Rolex ( 16660 / 16750 / 16800 ) developed, sometimes, a very warm and typical patina?
Don't ask me why, I have no idea. But it is a fact.
This one I saw some weeks ago is no exception to the rule.
It is quite irresistible, don't you think?

I love the transitional pieces.
This 16800 is great. I’ve owned a few but never a tropical dial. I’ve never owned a single tropical dial for that matter but that’s a whole other story. I love the 16808 also and of course these are far rarer than the models before and after. M.
If anyone can hunt one down it’s you my friend.
Don’t worry if it doesn’t have a tropical dial either M.
