I wonder how long before ADs start shrinking their Rolex floor/case space. It looks silly to have sales people stand around over large empty showcases. Empty cases do not drive foot traffic to a retailer and are wasted "real estate." If Rolex won't keep i...

not the really hot models, but for the rest well stocked... Anyhow, who buys a watch at an airport? I never did... Rather build a real relationship with an AD. Just my 2 cents, Dirk

While I am not a particular fan of Rolex, I understand their significance and the reason for their success and so go into their shops every once in a while and I am always surprised by how many "slots" of watches are empty. This does not happen at any oth...

Sadly, for a number of entrants to our hobby, getting to experience such class is fraught with being treated like a bad smell. Surely whichever rung of the ladder you’re on, the experience should be equal, as an incentive to repeat the process? Seems like...

Blame the hype and increasing demand... ADs keep the hot models off the shelves for their most loyal and VIP customers. And why wouldn't they? ADs should cater to the customers that has been keeping them in business for so long. Why would they sell it to ...

5 years ago, ask 100 people what they prefer and I bet you 95 (or more) would take Oyster. Now people walk around so triumphant to have the Jubilee on their wrist and claim it to be just the best thing ever🤦‍♂️

AD said that he cannot display these models in the window or the case, risking a walk in customer buying it within minutes and flipping it. Rolex might get back to them for not knowing the customer that they sell to.

Whilst this lies empty, Rolex found no problem ensuring the recent launch of the new revamped Rolex store run by Bucherer wasn’t as bereft of pieces, and likewise Lunn’s new fit-out to tie-in with the Open in Northern Ireland .
