One hundred percent honesty here
Since 2014 until now I have at one point or another owned every modern sports Rolex from the hulk to Batman etc.....I sold and or traded up to other brands as the prices started to change. So to me Rolex is a commodity. Once the prices stabilize I will most likely grab a GMT master II and that will be my final Rolex purchase that I will keep. It’s also at the bottom
Of my list of watches as I don’t think there is anything special about the brand. They are just Ok

Of course some used ones too. But now I feel most just enjoy looking at their bank balance growing rather than their watch collection growing It's always 'look at how much $$$ my 1675 is worth now' rather than 'look at how beautiful my 1675 is'
I believe this is (often) the case for the AD, in most instances they actually find themselves in a very difficult position now, especially when acting honestly...
Who I find entirely inexcusable with their artificial shortages here is Rolex, who are not even strategizing smart in my opinion -- chances they'll lose this phony game and customers will get bored with it in the long run seem pretty high to me ;-)
