but, as I wrote upon release, I would never consider ownership as the piece is not designed to be worn. Enjoy!

In fairness when you say “mass” I think that implies wearable. This is more
of a one off that was released as a consumer reference.

Although I don’t think I could pull it off this watch is an engineering marvel; as you said, form meets function — in that way very Rolex. I hope you get to go diving with it, or at least bring it into the ocean. Enjoy.

The wider Ringlock adds a bit of 'wearability" to the design of the watch that is not unattractive; definitely a "I'm wearing an engineering marvel" feel.

but I'm starting to like the look of the pronounced ring-lock. It gives the dial a porthole look, which is further accentuated by the domed crystal!!! [Pic from web] ...
