oh yeah...
grew up lovin it and purchased it once i had the means. simple and beautiful and an evolution of Bonds wearer of choice... there was only one watch in mind when i got it then and i will never sell this one... it stays in the family : )

Hands up... Who's first expensive watch was a Rolex....
...and which model and when. Mine was. It was 1989 and it was a yellow gold Day Date....and still going strong. You cant kill a Rolex. Congrats on the Rolex addition to the site. Kindest regards, Jack

I am pretty sure it was late 70's and I wore it for over 15 years straight. Never took it off. Still Have it today....
